LESCO Solar Net Metering

What is LESCO Solar Net Metering?

Let’s you connect your solar with LESCO Solar Net Metering panels to the main electricity line (the national grid). When your solar panels make more electricity than you need, the extra energy goes back to LESCO. They give you credits or money for that extra electricity.

  • It helps you save money on your electricity bill
  • You can even earn credits for the power you send back!

How Does Net Metering Work?

Think of your solar panels like a little power plant on your roof! They make electricity from sunlight.

  • If you use less than what your panels make, the extra power goes to LESCO.
  • A special device called a green meter keeps track of both the electricity you use and the extra power you generate.

At the end of the month, LESCO checks:

  • How much electricity did you use
  • How much did you send back
  • Then, they charge you for the net amount (total used – total sent back).
